The 2nd annual Winterfest was the first, "First Friday" event of the year. The event took place in downtown Statesboro on West Main Street from 5:30p-8p. Several vendors, fun activities, and live music lined the street as locals stepped out to enjoy the evening.

Grice Connect's Michele LeBlanc shares details about the Statesboro Family YMCA's Heart Run taking place on Saturday, February 10. Proceeds will fund the Y's new Phase 3 Cardiac Rehabilitation Program, a collaborative effort with East Georgia Medical Center and Georgia Southern University. This program strives to offer free cardiac rehabilitation services to participants, ensuring comprehensive care for those recovering from heart-related issues.

Two local churches demonstrated the power of God's love when they opened a warming shelter for citizens experiencing homelessness during the recent cold snap. Together, they hosted 39 guests in a safe, warm space over the five nights.

The boutique is always accepting donations of diapers, wipes, formula, and clothing up to size 2T.
