Did you know you can access FREE eBooks and audiobooks for kids and adults with your library card? Find out how and see all the fun events the Statesboro-Bulloch County Library has planned for January.

The hours for the drive are Saturday, January 6, from 9am-12pm and Sunday, January 7, from 12pm-3pm at the Statesboro YMCA. They will accept new or clean men's and women's professional clothing, shoes, and accessories. They will also accept scrubs.

The Statesboro-Bulloch County Library will host a child passenger safety class on Thursday, January 4. The class is part of the new Bulloch County Child Passenger Safety Program.

The family friendly event will take place on Saturday, January 13, at Fostering Bulloch's 7th Mile Farm, next to Kennedy Pond.

Baby Lawrence was born on January 1, 2024, at 4:20am, making him the first baby of the new year at East Georgia Regional Medical Center. Welcome to the world, Lawrence!

Join Roy Thompson, one of the TMT Farm Christmas Lights owners, on a private VIP tour of their family's two mile Christmas lights drive through. This light show is one of the largest privately owned light shows in the United States.

Keep Statesboro-Bulloch Beautiful has partnered with AgSouth Farm Credit, Georgia Power, and the City of Statesboro to host its annual Bring One for the Chipper event, with two drop-off locations available. Christmas trees will be recycled into mulch or transformed into a fish habitat.

Through the generous donations of local businesses, organizations, and the community, the City of Statesboro was able to provide gifts to 102 families and 265 kids.
