The Kappa Zeta Chapter of Kappa Sigma at Georgia Southern will host the run on campus with proceeds going to the Statesboro Fire Department.

In his keynote address, "Empowering Your Quantitative Acumen by Bringing Your Whole Self to the Table," Dr. Santos inspired students and faculty by emphasizing the integration of personal experiences and cultural backgrounds in statistical careers. The Georgia Ranch Horse Association (GRHA) is gearing up for an action-packed weekend at the Bulloch County Ag Complex in Statesboro. Equestrians from across the region will compete in a variety of ranch horse events September 6-8, showcasing their skills and horsemanship.

Synovus branches in Statesboro are accepting donations of peanut butter and jelly for the Statesboro Food Bank throughout the month of September.

SPD will host the six-week long course on topics such as patrol, traffic enforcement, investigation, and special operations. Applications are due by September 17.

The Statesboro Exchange Club held their 7th annual Strike Out Child Abuse Bowling Tournament and a silent auction on August 22. All proceeds from the event go toward Child Abuse Prevention Projects.
