Shem Kendrick is a Board-Certified Master Arborist with the International Society of Arboriculture. He has been providing professional tree care services to the Savannah area for the past 15 years. Although he is relatively new to the art of bonsai, his extensive background in tree care has helped him to quickly advance his personal bonsai knowledge beyond his ten years of practice.
Shem will guide you through the bonsai basics, including species selection, root/shoot pruning, and wiring techniques to create a miniature living tree art.
Let's have some fun learning how to shape trees to meet our aesthetic goals in a way that can't be accomplished outside the confines of a small pot. It's going to be amazing!
