The Southeast Health District has reopened it's COVID-19 Vaccine appointment scheduling, this includes the Bulloch County Health Department.

Sheila Kegebein, RN, was recently awarded the DAISY Award for Extraordinary Nurses at East Georgia Regional Medical Center . After leaving EGRMC for a brief period, Sheila began nursing at EGRMC again in 2015 in the Cardiac Care Unit.

Vaccine Supply to providers locally and statewide is being squeezed this week, due to winter weather across the country which is significantly impacting shipments of COVID-19 vaccine to Georgia.

Bulloch, Candler & Evans Counties all report one COVID death today. Bulloch is now at a total of 85 COVID deaths, 47 PCR & 38 Rapid Antigen. Candler County's total COVID deaths is at 53, with 33 PCR & 20 Rapid Antigen deaths.

Candler County sees one COVID death today. Candler's total COVID deaths is now at 52, 33 PCR deaths & 19 Rapid Antigen deaths.

Today, Bulloch & Candler Counties see one COVID death each. For Bulloch County, this means the total number of COVID deaths is now 84, with 47 PCR deaths & 37 Rapid Antigen deaths.

On Saturday, February 13th, there will be a no appointment, first come COVID vaccination clinic at the Statesboro Pediatrics & Healthcare location on Brampton Avenue (1570 Brampton Ave, Statesboro, GA 30548).

Today, Evans County reports it's 19th COVID death, with 11 PCR deaths & 8 Rapid Antigen deaths. Evans County also reports a 14 day average of 328 positive cases per 100,000 residents & a 7-day average 14.2%.

Free COVID Testing is now available at Luetta Moore Park, 585 Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive. With the Bulloch County Health Department now only doing vaccinations, we have been receiving calls regarding free testing.
