Twin brothers Davon and Tavon Woods have walked all over the United States to raise awareness for children in foster care. This weekend, they will bring their walk to the Boro, and they will also dedicate a mile to Georgia Kate Anderson.

Katrina Baranko, President Elect of Kiwanis International addressed the Club praising them for all of the wonderful work they are doing in our community and region.

Shatasha Fields, 36, died in the accident. Her sons, Kingston, 4, and Knowledge, 5, were critically injured. A prayer vigil is planned for Thursday, August 24.

The Statesboro Jaycees recently hosted their annual "Jaycees Nite Out" fundraising event, which benefited The Camilla Foundation this year. The event raised a record-setting $8,945, all while attendees bar-hopped for a night of fellowship and fun.
