The Hospital Auxiliary at EGRMC is having their FIRST fundraiser in years (due to COVID). This fundraiser supports local charities and scholarships for GSU and OTC students.
David Keene, Director of the Hospital Auxiliary said, “The purpose of the show or sale is to provide financial support to help the Auxiliary of EGRMC provide SCHOLARSHIPS to deserving students in the area and support our THANKSGIVING GIFT BAG PROGRAM. However, the most important reason is that our community supports and enjoys coming to EGRMC to shop!”
The SHOP coming this year is very unique and has a variety of TREASURES that will appeal to ALL your needs. ‘Jodi's Accessories’ will be at the Hospital Friday, August 25,2023 from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. in the Education Room. MAKE PLANS to HEAD ON OVER!
“GIVING BACK IS WHAT WE ENJOY AND DO BEST,” says the spokesperson from Jodi's Accessories. Jodi's opened their doors in the community in 1999. Over the years, their business has changed, with the internet and becoming mobile, so that you can reach more people in more areas. Their ‘POP-UP’ shows are a way for fundraising and doing events.
Jodi's Accessories is known for their wonderful gifts and great prices. Just to entice your interest, they not only have a variety of jewelry like earrings, necklaces, rings, watches, etc. They have thermo tumblers, cups, table linens, dish towels, handbags, totes and have a variety of cute gifts and accessories for yourself or gift giving. So come SHOP and SUPPORT the Hospital Auxiliary Volunteers at EGRMC on Friday. ‘Jodi’s Accessories' accepts all forms of payment, whether it be cash, credit, debit card, or Mobile Pay.
The Auxiliary has been hosting these events since 1971 except for the years of COVID-19. This will be their first ‘Jewelry Sale’ since the pandemic ended, so let's make it a HUGE SUCCESS.
David Keene mentioned, “There are many stories about our community members that come to these events but most of all the one thing they enjoy most is meeting old friends at the Hospital Sale.” This event is a community staple. Come, meet, greet, purchase and leave with a BIG SMILE till the next event knowing that it was all for a good cause and helps Statesboro and Bulloch County.
The Hospital Auxiliary members are always looking for a way to interact with the Statesboro and Bulloch County community. Always trying to find ways to improve relationships and serve in the future. “The Hospital Auxiliary at EGRMC is hoping to have other events, maybe a bed/linen sale or a larger jewelry event,” David added. He said in closing, “No matter what it is, we will do our very best to make it something our friends and neighbors will want to be involved with.”
The Hospital Auxiliary is a non-profit organization that is funded by the profits of their vending machines in the hospital, some private donations, and a couple of major fundraisers a year. The Auxiliary is known for their Jewelry Sales, and this is the ONE you cannot miss! Remember, it's Friday, August 25th 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
