The Eagles visit Argentina in June

Following the conclusion of the regular season Saturday evening, the Sun Belt Conference announced the seeds and matchups for the 2023 Guardian Credit Union Sun Belt Conference Baseball Championship.

UP NEXT: Georgia Southern will play in the No. 8 vs No. 9 game in the Sun Belt Conference Championship on Tuesday, May 23 at 7:30 p.m. ET. Final seedings and matchups have not yet been announced.

The Eagles wrapped up competition Saturday night.

UP NEXT: Georgia Southern looks to finish the regular season with a win on Senior Day. Action begins from J.I. Clements Stadium at 2 p.m. on Saturday, with the Senior Day ceremony occurring about 20 minutes prior to first pitch. Fans are encouraged to come early to show their support and cheer on these seniors one more time.

All five on the Academic All-District team will advance to national balloting for potential All-America honors, to be announced on June 6.

Georgia Southern sees its season come to a close. The Eagles return eight letterwinners to the 2023-24 roster, including Baker and Claxton, who played in the Salem Regional and the Sun Belt Championship, and Hogan Ingram, who was in the lineup for last season's Sun Belt Championship, NCAA Regional and NCAA Finals.

Wilson Andress is tied for eighth on the individual leaderboard. The Eagles are paired with New Mexico and Northern Illinois for today's final round and teed off the 10th hole at 8:15 a.m.

UP NEXT: The Eagles will take on the JMU Dukes and look to send its seniors out right and improve its seeding in the Sun Belt Tournament. The series starts Thursday, May 18, at 6:30 p.m.

The Eagles are paired with Georgia Tech and Northern Illinois today for round two.
