Most pet owners have probably heard of the "Rainbow Bridge," a touching depiction of the journey a beloved pet takes after departing this life.
August 28th is the annual Rainbow Bridge Remembrance Day, and in honor of this day, Paws 'n Reflect, a pet cremation service in Statesboro, is excited to announce a special new addition to their services.
Inspired by the real-life Rainbow Bridge in Lake Lure, North Carolina, which was sadly washed away during Hurricane Helene, owner Laura Moore and her team are adding their own Rainbow Bridge Memorial here in Statesboro.
A place for peaceful reflection
Slated for construction in the winter, it will be a peaceful place for pet owners to visit as they remember the life of their beloved pets.

They will be given the opportunity to place their pet’s collar around the rails of the bridge, offering a special way to honor and share their pet’s memory. There will be fencing around the bridge to provide privacy, as well as a bench so families can sit and stay as long as they like.
Comfort and care when pets cross the Rainbow Bridge
Since its founding in 2008, Paws 'n Reflect has served families in Statesboro and the surrounding areas when their pets have passed on. Recognizing the emotional toll that the loss of a pet can have on families, this locally-owned and operated business has dedicated itself to providing personalized pet cremation services, a comforting environment, and a range of keepsakes to honor pets’ memories.

Recently, Paws ‘n Reflect has also partnered with Dr. Danielle Dimon, a local veterinarian who offers at-home euthanasia services. Through her business Peace & Passing, Dr. Dimon is able to give beloved pets a peaceful and dignified passage over the rainbow bridge, surrounded by their family, in the place they are most comfortable.
As part of her services, Dr. Dimon will transport your pet to Paws ‘n Reflect for cremation. For more information about Peace & Passing, please visit the website at www.peaceandpassing.com.

Honoring a special bond
At Paws 'n Reflect, the team understands the extra special bond between pets and their owners. They truly know how much a pet can mean to a family, and they treat every pet as a member of their own family, ensuring that they receive the dignity and respect they deserve.
The new Rainbow Bridge Memorial is just one more way that Paws 'n Reflect is honoring the pets of our community like the special members of our families that they are.

As a sweet opportunity for reflection during this Rainbow Bridge Remembrance Day, pet parents are welcome to stop by the Paws ‘n Reflect office from August 25-29 to pick up a memorial heart in honor and remembrance of their pets who have crossed the Rainbow Bridge.
