The Statesboro-Bulloch Remembrance Coalition recently held its “Bulloch Bears Witness” forum on Wednesday, January 4. The event was free to the public and held in partnership with the Equal Justice Initiative based in Montgomery, Alabama.

In 2022, Fixing the Boro 's SNIP Clinic successfully completed a total of 5,746 spay and neuter surgeries.

Senior line dancers from the Bulloch Recreation and Parks Department's Adults 50+ program performed during halftime at the Georgia Southern basketball games on December 29. These ladies gather together for line dancing classes weekly.

The Run the Boro 5K race will be held at the Statesboro YMCA on Saturday, January 28, 2023. This is the Statesboro YMCA's third annual 5K, and Executive Branch Director Hannah Beggs is looking to have more participants to register this year.

Forever Me will host their second annual Kickin' It in the Boro: Sneaker Ball gathering on January 14, 2023, from 7:30-11:30pm at the Georgia Southern Performing Arts Center .

The back entrance to the Bulloch County North Main Annex will remain closed due to construction for an extended amount of time.

Elvis: Rock My Soul will be coming to the Screven County High School Auditorium on Saturday, Februrary 18.

Crossroads Community Church is hosting GriefShare a 13 week class to provide support and encouragement for your grief journey. The class begins on Sunday, January 8, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM.

The Georgia Southern Wesley campus ministry organization will travel to the Gulf Shores Retreat Center in Alabama for the Sunbelt Retreat January 20-22.

In early December, two Georgia Southern University entrepreneurship classes instructed by Dr. Steve Stewart donated money to two local nonprofits focused on sexual assault and domestic violence.
