GS Masters of History student presented the program on the experience of African Americans within the Georgia Oyster Industry

On Saturday, January 28, 2023, Bulloch Academy will host the BA Lifetime Legacies Ball (also known as The Ball) at the Nessmith-Lane Building on the Georgia Southern campus.

On Monday, January 16th, the 2023 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parade culminated in a community service & celebration program at the Elm Street Church of God . The program was sponsored by the NAACP of Bulloch County and was free to the public.

To celebrate the amazing legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., each art class at Brooklet Elementary School was recently given the opportunity to express their understanding of his importance to our world.

The Dutch Ford Farm Wedding and Event Venue will welcome the public for an open house and tours of their facilities on Saturday, January 21, 2023, from 8am to 5pm.

The Clito Baptist Church will hold a veteran’s memorial monument dedication service at their church on Sunday, January 29, 2023. The service will begin at 11am and is open to the public.

The Statesboro-Bulloch County Library will be hosting “Homeschool Fridays” gatherings on each Friday of every month.

The Hawk Enrichment Center hosted its first After School Table on Tuesday, January 10. The Table will provide free meals to children in Sylvania on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons each week.
