The Christmas spirit came to life in Brooklet, GA on Wednesday evening with the annual Christmas Tree lighting in Downtown Brooklet. Hundreds attended the annual ceremonial tree lighting event.

The Statesboro Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., will be hosting its 19th annual Peppermint Ball this weekend. This event is a fundraiser with all proceeds to benefit the Chapter’s scholarships for local graduating seniors in Bulloch, Candler, and Evans counties.
