Attention nonprofit organizations in Bulloch County! United Way of SEGA is thrilled to announce Empower Bulloch Mini-Grants: Building a Better Future for Bulloch County. The ten $1,500 mini grants will be awarded to organizational initiatives that are positively impacting our community. Applications are open now through July 9, 2024.

Mark your calendars for a culinary extravaganza like no other! United Way of Southeast Georgia is excited to announce the 14th Annual Tasting Statesboro event on August 14, 2024 at the Anthony P. Tippins Family Training Facility. Sample dishes from over 30 local restaurants and support local charities. Tickets are available now!

The Tattnall Campmeeting, a summer tradition since 1867, will kick off on Saturday, July 13, 2024 with Karen Peck & New River Gospel Sing. Services begin on Sunday evening, July 14th and continue through Sunday morning, July 22nd. The campground is located 30 minutes from downtown Statesboro.

Juneteenth, also known as the United States' second independence day, is a day of celebration recognizing the emancipation of enslaved African Americans. Juneteeth Bulloch hosted its fourth annual Juneteenth Music and Food Festival much to the delight of Bulloch County residents. 

GingerSnap and MoonPie, two beloved therapy goats, are making a significant impact in Statesboro. Recently, GingerSnap brought comfort and joy to students at Bulloch Academy during final exams, showcasing the profound benefits of animal-assisted therapy, where their presence alleviated stress while encouraging emotional support and social skills development in students.
