Mark your calendar and get your tickets now for an unforgettable culinary experience at United Way's 14th Annual Tasting Statesboro... the United Way! This year's event is Wednesday, August 14, 2024, from 5:30-7:30pm at an exciting new venue: The Anthony P. Tippins Family Training Facility at Paulson Stadium!
Since 2011, the United Way of Southeast Georgia has proudly hosted this event to raise awareness and funds for its member agencies. This is your chance to sample dishes from over 30 local restaurants and support a worthy cause. It is one of the Grice Connect team's personal favorite events!
At the event, you can enjoy a wide range of menu offerings from local establishments, including breakfast, lunch, dinner, appetizers, desserts, coffee, beer, and wine. At the same time, you'll be supporting our community. All proceeds from the event benefit local charities supported by the United Way of Southeast Georgia.
There will also be a 50/50 raffle this year.
Without a doubt, Tasting Statesboro would not be possible without its generous partners and it continues to be the organization’s signature event, making it possible to support those in need. In 2023, over 50 businesses sponsored the event, 30 local restaurants participated, and over 500 people attended, raising over $38,600. -- United Way of Southeast Georgia
Tickets will be available for purchase until Tuesday, August 13 at 11:59pm. Advanced tickets are $30 each, with children 5 and under being free. Children ages 6-10 will require a ticket for $15. (Contact the United Way office at 912-489-8475 or [email protected] for child tickets.)
