The free event will feature vehicles from the sheriff's department, police department, Georgia State Patrol, public works, EMS, AirEvac, animal services, and more. Touch A Truck will not only allow members of the community to see the vehicles up close but will also give them the opportunity to learn more about each agency and its responsibilities.

The Statesboro Village Builders are excited to announce their upcoming Family Fun Resource Day event which is scheduled for May 31st. The event will be held at Berkshire Village Lawn, located at 220 Lanier Dr. Get ready for a day of FREE entertainment with music, interactive games, and onsite resources. Galactic Comics and Games hosted Free Comic Book Day, an international celebration of these beloved visual stories. Local artists were available for meet and greets, and attendees took home new reads from a large table filled with free comic books.

Esther's Place kicked off their first vintage and artisan market at the fairgrounds on Saturday May 4, 2024, raising money with the help of local artists and business. Single mothers, homeless veteran women, and women in recovery all have a safe space right here in Bulloch County. Volunteers at the Feed the Boro food drop received a visit from a community hero, SPD Officer Joey DeLoach, who is recovering from injuries suffered in the line of duty. Officer DeLoach received a deserved hero's welcome at the food drop which he normally helps with each month.
