On Monday, May 13th, the Statesboro Youth Chorale held its 30th Anniversary Concert. The concert was equal parts nostalgic and energetic, as past and present Youth Chorale members celebrated the many years of shared music tradition.

22 years ago Bulloch County Sheriff's Sergeant Wilbur Berry was killed on May 19, 2001, when he and other deputies were investigating a reportedly stolen truck and a burglary case that was believed to be connected. Sheriff Noel Brown and local law enforcement come together annual to honor Sergeant Berry.

We have a winner for the United Way Louis Vuitton Graceful PM or $1,500 cash, graciously donated by Dr. Delan Gaines of Optim Orthopedics. Over $8,000 was raised.

Feed the Boro's (FTB) March Food Drop in partnership with Second Harvest of Coastal Georgia, presented by Statesboro Food Lion, and sponsored by Shuman Farms, is scheduled for this Saturday, May 20th, beginning at 8am at Statesboro High School.
