Grice Connect's Senior Moment reporter Michele LeBlanc rediscovers a love for the public library. She was surprised by all of the creative, helpful and fun activities they offer to seniors for FREE! Michele is on a mission to get seniors back out into our community, discovering ways they can stay active, be appreciated and live a healthier life.

In its first year, The Camilla Foundation has successfully established relationships with the Boys and Girls Club of Bulloch County, Freedom Through Recovery, and Georgia Southern University. The foundation is facilitating much needed group and individual mental health sessions with these partners and the youth they serve.

Heading to Statesboro for Graduation? Grice Connect has put together some helpful "local" tips to help make your visit a little easier and more enjoyable. Congratulations to all of the GS Graduates. May all of your dreams come true!

The 3rd Annual Blueming for Prevention event hosted by Safe Haven and Keep Statesboro Bulloch Beautiful played a significant role in advocating for and inspiring a safer and more compassionate community and raising awareness about the various community organizations and offices that work together to stand against child abuse. 

At 106, Mrs. Beverly Gnehm is a joy to everyone who knows her. She is a resident of Willow Pond Senior Care in Statesboro. Join Grice Connect in wishing her a happy 106th!

Local non-profit action pact will hold its third annual Rubber Duck Race at Splash in the Boro on May 16, 2023! Action pact is a community action agency deeply rooted in the promise of improving lives and communities. One hundred ducks will race for cash prizes, with proceeds benefitting action pact programs in our community and surrounding areas.

Raybon Anderson was honored today for his induction into the GA AG Hall of Fame at a luncheon hosted by Gary Black, former Georgia Commissioner of Agriculture and Senator Billy Hickman.

Buloch County celebrated the National Day of Prayer with a breakfast at First Baptist Church, a noon time gathering on the Courthouse square and with public readings of God's word.
