Join the Georgia Police K9 Foundation for its hugely popular “An Evening for the K9s” fundraiser on Friday, June 2, and Saturday, June 3, 2023. The event will feature special K9 guests, speakers, a silent auction, and much more.

Grab your dancing shoes and lawn chair and join the fun in Downtown Statesboro this summer! Admission to the concerts is free. Food trucks and beverage vendors will open at 5:00 p.m. on the day of the event with several downtown restaurants also within walking distance of the concert stage. Downtown Live is a family-friendly event for all ages.

This Saturday, April 29, W.E. MOVE! Tutoring Group will hold a grand opening for its new location at the Statesboro Family YMCA. The event will begin at 10am at the Y, located at 409 Clairborne Avenue.

The event will take place at the Willow Hill Heritage and Renaissance Center on April 29, from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. Food historian Clarissa Clifton, Chef Cheryl Henry, and Pitmasters John “Bobbie” Robinson and Curtis Clifton will prepare a full meal outdoors over an open pit, as was done during slavery.

The Boys & Girls Club of Bulloch County will host its annual Casino Night fundrasier at Forest Heights Country Club on May 5th, from 7:30-10pm. All proceeds will benefit the Club.

Pastor John Waters of First Baptist Statesboro and Pastor Donald Chavers of Agape Worship Center are inviting people of all faiths to join them for the National Day of Prayer Community Breakfast on May 4th at 6:30am in the Perry Fellowship Hall of First Baptist.

The annual Blue vs. White spring game will take place on Saturday, April 22.
