The Georgia Police K9 Foundation will host its hugely popular annual “An Evening for the K9s” fundraiser in a two-day event on Friday, June 2, and Saturday, June 3, 2023. The event will boast a red-carpet atmosphere while attendees enjoy food, raffles, meeting K9 heroes, and so much more! With more than 1,000 attendees projected to attend the event, it remains the largest annual event for the Georgia Police K9 Foundation.
The event will begin on Friday, June 2, with a “Friday Night Kick Off” at CrossRoads Community Church from 7-9pm. The event will then resume on Saturday, June 3, at The Oak Room at Ogeechee Tech from 6-11pm.
“An Evening for the K9s” currently offers sponsorship packages for interested patrons and businesses. Sponsorship opportunities include Bronze, Silver, Gold, Diamond, Emerald, Platinum, and Elite Top Dog packages. The event will also hold a silent auction, which is noted by the K9 Foundation website as being “the most incredible silent auction you have ever seen.”
Event raffle items currently include a Daniel Defense M4A1 RIII 5.56 14.5 Barrel, Tristar Viper G2 410, ESPN Wood Cornhole Set, and many more name-brand items.
An Evening for the K9s will also bring many “K9 Special Guests” from across the United States. Special Guest speakers will include Nick White, Sara Carson (an America’s Got Talent Finalist), Texas Cop, and Hulkrilla.
The Georgia Police K9 Foundation’s mission is to protect and serve both active and retired law enforcement K9s throughout Georgia. They achieve this by providing the equipment and training necessary to ensure that Georgia’s K9s are wholly equipped for the line of duty.
