Local non-profit action pact will hold its third annual Rubber Duck Race at Splash in the Boro on May 16, 2023! Action pact is a community action agency deeply rooted in the promise of improving lives and communities. One hundred ducks will race for cash prizes, with proceeds benefitting action pact programs in our community and surrounding areas.

Fostering Bulloch's 7th Mile Farm is seeking out volunteers to come be a part of this life-changing camp experience for some of Georgia's most vulnerable children.

Feed the Boro will be implementing a pilot program providing “Backpack Buddy Bags” to students participating in select summer education programs in Bulloch County. They hope to partner with additional community agencies on this initiative as they look to create an on-going program to feed children in need. Through the collaboration of their teacher, Rachel Murray, and Dr. Kailee Sylvester at The Therapy SPOT, the students now have their very own adaptive bike to use during their outside time at school!
