This brand new community group welcomes all ages to acknowledge and thank vital organizations within our community -- like the Statesboro Police Department, Safe Haven, Fostering Bulloch, and Open Hearts, just to name a few! The goal of the CKC is to create collaborative service projects as a way to show these organizations our gratitude. The club will meet Friday afternoons at 4pm.

Additional male and female volunteers are needed to accommodate all of the children who have applied to attend MDA Camp at Camp Twin Lakes in Rutledge, Georgia, the week of June 24. Please share and apply if you are able to help!

The Statesboro-Bulloch County Library is launching its annual Summer Reading Program for 2023. This year's theme, All Together Now, focuses on growing kindness in our community. June and July are jam-packed with events and activities that will captivate readers of all ages, so come join the fun for FREE!

Hello SENIORS!! Michele LeBlanc here. Isn't it another wonderful week? This week I visit 'action pact,' another wonderful program for seniors. I am on a mission to get seniors back out into our community, discovering ways they can stay active, be appreciated and live a healthier life.

Bulloch County honored fallen soldiers on Memorial Day, Monday, May 29, 2023 at the Emma Kelly Theater. The 2022 ceremony began at 10:30 with music by Issac Sherrod and was keynoted by Statesboro Vietnam Veteran Phil Crowley.

Local businesses and non-profit organizations are invited to join the fall Boro Browse on the Georgia Southern Statesboro campus. This is a great opportunity to introduce your business to new and returning Georgia Southern students, faculty, and staff!

Seniors, Michele is at it again! This time she is gambling her life away with a fierce game of BINGO at the Statesboro-Bulloch Regional Library. Is it possible to have this much fun in Statesboro? Michele SAYS YES!! Come join her, if you dare. She is proving how much fun Seniors can have, especially on a Senior budget!

The Emma Kelly theater will host the Bulloch County Memorial Day service, coordinated by the American Legion Dexter Post 90, on May 29th. Grice Connect will live stream the program, and lunch will follow at the American Legion.
