The City of Statesboro celebrates it 220th birthday on Tuesday, December 19, 2023.

Governor Brian P. Kemp announced a state employee retention pay supplement of $1,000 for each of the roughly 112,000 state employees and 196,000 educators and school support staff across the state.

GA EPD representatives attended the Coastal Regional Water Planning Meeting and stressed that no Bulloch County Wells have been permitted. They will provide opportunities to engage the public in the process and no permits will be issued without public input. The Statesboro Comprehensive Plan Stakeholder Committee consists of key individuals or groups in the community that have specific, invested interests in the development of the comprehensive plan. The members of the committee must be diverse and representative of the community and include landowners, businesses, nonprofits, special interest groups, and other key individuals.
