Residents from the Cottages at Bethany had the privilege of hosting our local first responders for breakfast on Friday morning. It was a heartwarming event where they celebrated the dedication and sacrifice of these men and women in Bulloch County. Let's continue to honor and support our first responders, who go above and beyond to ensure our safety and well-being. Together, we can show our appreciation for these everyday heroes who selflessly protect and serve our community.

All first responders are welcome to stop by the Bethany Community Commons Building on Friday morning for a free breakfast as a thank you for their service to our community.

The June 1 event is for all ages and will raise funds to benefit Habitat Bulloch's work in helping three local families realize their dreams of homeownership. Registration is open!

The free event will feature vehicles from the sheriff's department, police department, Georgia State Patrol, public works, EMS, AirEvac, animal services, and more. Touch A Truck will not only allow members of the community to see the vehicles up close but will also give them the opportunity to learn more about each agency and its responsibilities.

The Statesboro Village Builders are excited to announce their upcoming Family Fun Resource Day event which is scheduled for May 31st. The event will be held at Berkshire Village Lawn, located at 220 Lanier Dr. Get ready for a day of FREE entertainment with music, interactive games, and onsite resources. Kids can enjoy face painting, bounce houses, and arts and crafts activities.

The Camilla Foundation hosted an event to raise funds and awareness on Tuesday evening at The Botanic Garden at Georgia Southern University.

The Blueming for Prevention event, organized by Safe Haven in Statesboro, Georgia, brought together the community for the fourth consecutive year to raise awareness about child abuse and domestic violence. Through a lineup of speakers, attendees were reminded of the pervasive nature of these issues and the urgent need for collective action.
