On Saturday, June 1st, 2024, Habitat for Humanity of Bulloch County will host Serving for Shelter, a pickleball fundraiser, to support their work building homes, communities, and hope in Bulloch County. Funds raised will support construction of three new homes for low-income families in Statesboro.

“We’re so excited about this special event!” said Dr. Kristina Patterson, President of the Habitat for Humanity of Bulloch County Board of Directors. “In the face of a growing affordable housing crisis in Bulloch County, an increased number of families are looking to Habitat to help realize their dreams of homeownership. With the help of our generous sponsors and players, we can work to ensure that more families in Bulloch County have a safe, decent, affordable place to live.”

D & R Intensive Car Care is the presenting sponsor. Coastal Elite Roofing and Statesboro Kiwanis Club are court sponsors. Hall & Navarro, LLC, Tandoor and Tap, SYNOVUS, and Anders CPAs are sponsoring registration, water, cooling, and first aid stations.
