Georgia Southern, the two-time defending champions and the host school, bettered five schools ranked ahead of them in the latest Clippd'd rankings to finish fourth and claim its 23rd top-five finish in tournament history.

Soren Butler was named the Collegiate Rifle Coaches Association (CRCA) Head Coach of the Year and Abby Buesseler was named the CRCA Assistant Coach of the Year, as announced by the organization this week. It is the first honor for both coaches.

The field of play for the 2024 tournament includes teams from UAB, Army West Point, Campbell, Florida, Florida Gulf Coast, Georgia Southern, Kentucky, Middle Tennessee State, Mississippi State, NC State, Notre Dame, South Carolina, West Virginia, and Wisconsin. Georgia Southern is once again the defending champion.
