Bulloch County Tennis is coming off a great 2024 season, and keeping up skills, many athletes are picking up where they left off.

The Bulloch Gators look to continue success as they go for three.

The Portal Panthers went on the road to take on Twiggs County on Friday, August 30th. The Panthers were able to come away with a win for their first of the season.

Coming off a huge victory against the Statesboro Blue Devils and their off-week, the Southeast Bulloch Yellow Jackets continued the momentum in their game against the Island High Sharks.

Statesboro High and Brunswick played in the finale of their week-long series on Thursday, August 29th. The Lady Blue Devils defeated the Pirates 14-0.

The Georgia Southern football team opens up its 2024 campaign on Saturday when it hosts Boise State at Allen E. Paulson Stadium. Kickoff is set for 4:05 p.m. and will be broadcast nationally on ESPNU, as well as streamed online through ESPN+ and the ESPN app. The game will also be available via radio on the Georgia Southern Sports Network.

The Southeast Bulloch Yellow Jackets softball team hosted the Jenkins Warriors on Tuesday, August 27th. The Yellow Jackets took down the Warriors 14-2.

The Bulloch Academy softball team hosted the Claxton Tigers on Monday, August 27th. The Gators defeated the Tigers 4-1.

The Eagles have set their sights on a postseason run and are ready to compete in one of the toughest schedules in the country. The squad is set to begin its season on Monday, August 26 at the 2024 Tiger Classic in Clemson, South Carolina.
