SPD Enforcing Curfew after High School Football Game at Paulson Saturday night
The SHS and SEB game at Paulson Stadium begins at 9 PM Saturday night and is not expected to end until nearly midnight. As a safety precaution the Statesboro Police Department will be enforcing a midnight curfew for anyone under 18 and not accompanied by their parent.

2nd Annual Festival of Hope to provide recovery resources and honor lives lost to substance use
The 2nd Annual Festival of Hope will take place on Saturday, September 2nd from 10a-2p at Mill Creek Park. The resource-filed event seeks to shift the narrative of substance use by offering prevention and resources to individuals seeking recovery. The 2nd annual event is done in remembrance of Hannah Jane Fordham, who passed away in August 2019 from a drug overdose.
