Gov. Kemp signs HB 30, securing definition for antisemitism

Two dead in Monday morning crash at US 25 and US 80; Roadway is blocked
Shortly before 11:30am, a 2003 Chevy S-10 pickup truck was traveling south on US-25 and attempted to negotiate the left curve while passing the intersection at US Highway 80 at too fast a speed. Georgia Power is on scene repairing a damaged power pole, and the roadway will remain blocked until repairs are complete.

Georgia Southern receives grant to support University String Camerata tour
The Georgia Southern University String Camerata has received a grant of nearly $55,000 from the Halle Foundation to support the ensemble’s educational tour of Germany. During this tour, Georgia Southern string players will experience German composers, music history and music culture in an authentic manner that players do not get in a typical home setting.

I-16 at Old Cuyler Road Interchange Public Hearing Open House Comment Period Opens
The Georgia Department of Transportation is seeking comments from now until March 10, on the proposed Interstate 16 at Old Cuyler Road Interchange project (PI 0019451) in Bryan County. The proposed interchange will provide new, direct interstate access and offer congestion relief for the existing I-16 at US 280 Interchange to the west. The public is asked to review and submit comments on the project’s latest design concept, Environmental Assessment (EA) document, and Mitigation Plan.
