Statesboro Mayor appointed chair of National League of Cities’ University Communities Council

City of Statesboro Mayor Jonathan McCollar has been appointed chair of the National League of Cities (NLC) 2024 University Communities Council. McCollar was elected to a one-year term to develop and guide programs among local elected officials from similar communities.
