The Voice of the Eagles, Danny Reed, will serve as emcee of the event, which will include four guest speakers: Georgia Southern Director of Athletics Jared Benko; Georgia Southern Executive Vice President Dr. Alejandra Sosa Pieroni; Isabel Ptacek, president of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) and Lily Kasra, Georgia Southern Swimming & Diving Student Athlete and Class of 2024 Graduate.

This all ages event at Sweetheart Circle will offer an Easter Egg hunt, inflatables, face painting, egg dyeing, a "hippity hoppity" hayride, food trucks, and maybe even a special visit from the Easter Bunny! The egg hunt is FREE, and all other activities require a $10 wristband.

This week, Ogeechee Tech held its annual iGot community giving campaign. The college will celebrate the support it received this year at the "We Are OTC" event this coming Thursday.

Join the Georgia Southern Performing Arts Center April 11 to experience the dangers and delights of Dinosaur World Live! This roarsome interactive show will bring wonder and joy for all ages! Discover a pre-historic world of astonishing, remarkably life-like dinosaurs, and meet a host of impressive creatures, including every child's favorite flesh-eating giant, the Tyrannosaurus Rex.

We visit with Phylette Blake, Regina Days-Bryan, and Trina Roberts about their special Day in Hanner. The trio were parts of some of the best teams Georgia Southern women's basketball ever put out on the floor. Roberts was a part of the 1981-82 team that made the first national postseason appearance, advancing to the AIAW Round of 16 in New Jersey, while Days-Bryan and Blake were part of multiple New South Women's Athletic Conference (NSWAC) championships.

Georgia Department of Transportation continues essential road work throughout Southeast Georgia.  As a result, work on construction and maintenance projects will continue Saturday, March 23 through Friday, March 29. 

The U.S. Air Force Band of the West will take the stage at the East Georgia State College (EGSC) Gambrell Building Auditorium to kick off the College’s 2024 Vision Series on Sunday, March 24 at 3p.m.

The WSFR program supports the maintenance and operation of shooting ranges, wildlife management efforts on more than 1.1 million acres, producing and stocking millions of fish from state fish hatcheries, maintenance and operation of 11 public fishing areas, and facilitating and seeking to increase boating and land access for outdoor recreation purposes.

This is the first women’s team in the College’s history to win the GCAA Championship. The Lady Bobcats will now travel to Wyoming for the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Division 1 Women’s Basketball Championship.
