It is important that we do our part and stay healthy. Dr. Ruthie Crider, E.R. doctor, tells us by complying with CDC orders and staying healthy is the most important thing we can do.

The Statesboro-Bulloch County Library announced that they will close at 6PM on Monday, March 16th, and anticipate to be closed for 2 weeks as a precaution due to COVID-19.

Bulloch County Schools will deliver bags of free meals to 30 locations on weekdays (Monday – Friday) March 17 – 27. The program will provide free grab and go breakfast and lunch meals to any child ages 0 to 18.

The City of Statesboro in conjunction with Bulloch County are working diligently to plan and prepare for COVID-19, should it reach this area. At present, there are no confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Statesboro or Bulloch County.

Bulloch VOAD has been activated along with Public Safety Agencies to assist with the COVID-19. Bulloch VOAD (Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster) is a non profit agency which is established to assist with the humanitarian side of disasters.
