Project REACH Bulloch seeks input from African American and Hispanic/Latino community members

Researchers Drs. Stacy Smallwood and Kristina Patterson from Georgia Southern University invite African American and Hispanic/Latino/a community members to share their views on health and well-being in Statesboro and Bulloch County. Participants will receive $40 for their time, and childcare will be provided. The project is supported by seed funding from Georgia Southern University’s Faculty Research Council.

The Georgia Southern Wildlife Center, Georgia Power, The Botanic Garden at GSU, the Statesboro Regional Library, The US Fish and Wildlife Service, Ogeechee Technical College's Nursing Department, and many more were at the event to share information and provide hands-on activities. Students were able to explore rock climbing, science experiments, building stethoscopes, creating electricity, and more.
