World Trade Center Savannah seeks nominations for International Business of the Year Award
Given annually, the award recognizes companies that excel in international trade and acknowledges the importance of trade to the region’s economy. This award is presented to encourage and recognize exemplary corporate leadership for international business or trade that advances relations between the U.S. and other nations as well as creates quality jobs in the region. The deadline for nominations is March 29.

OTC students earn Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals at State SkillsUSA Competition
Ogeechee Technical College competed in seven categories winning gold medals in Cybersecurity and Career Pathways – Industrial & Engineering Technology, silver medals in Esthetics and Early Childhood Care and Education – Promotional Bulletin Board, and bronze in Early Childhood Care and Education. This is the second year in a row that both Cybersecurity and Career Pathways earned gold medals. OTC also fielded teams in the Cosmetology and Quiz Bowl categories.

Musicians from four middle schools band together; Free public concert is March 14
Student musicians from Langston Chapel, William James, Southeast Bulloch and Portal middle schools will showcase their collective talents during a free, public concert on Thursday, March 14, at 7 p.m., in the Langston Chapel Middle School Gymnasium. The event is also a last formal rehearsal prior to the group competing in the Southern Star Music Festival in Atlanta on March 15. This new collaboration fosters talent and festival participation.
