On June 16 the we had 110 total positive cases of COVID-19 in Bulloch, reported 3 deaths and 13 total hospitalizations. Today we zoomed past 700 reporting 723 total positive COVID-19 cases in Bulloch.

The “Squash the Spread” citizen movement, together with the City of Statesboro, Bulloch County, and Bulloch County Emergency Management are distributing face masks free throughout Bulloch County to help slow the spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19).

Today in Bulloch County: 699 Total confirmed cases and 6 deaths total reported here with 54 hospitalizations total. Up 15 confirmed cases since yesterday.

According to a Georgia Tech website the chances of at least one COVID-19 positive person being in a crowd of 100 in Bulloch County is 99%. For a crowd of 25 in Bulloch County it is 66% and 35% in a group of 10.

Heritage Health and Rehabilitation a LTC facility is reporting an increase of 2 deaths since the July 10th report. That brings a total of 4 deaths in that facility. It normally takes a few days for these to show in the total death count.
