Ogeechee Technical College recently celebrated the exceptional achievements of its students, with 140 individuals earning spots on the President’s List for maintaining a perfect 4.0 GPA, and 177 others being named to the Honor List for achieving impressive GPAs between 3.5 and 3.99 for the Fall 2024 semester.

The Thermo-Fluidic Systems Laboratory at Georgia Southern University has been awarded nearly $180,000 by the U.S. Department of Energy to tackle challenges in power plant efficiency, with Dr. Sevki Cesmeci leading the project as the principal investigator.

Researchers at Georgia Southern University’s Institute for Water and Health have launched a collaborative pilot project in Marion, Alabama, to address aging water infrastructure, promote workforce development, and advance environmental justice through community-based research and training programs.
