Longtime friend and 2022 Citizen of the Year recipient Doug Lambert introduced Georgia State Senator Billy Hickman as Statesboro's 2023 Rotary Citizen of the Year at a joint meeting of The Rotary Club of Statesboro and The Rotary Club of Downtown Statesboro.

The Exchange Club of Statesboro will host its annual community picnic at the 7th Mile Farm on Saturday, April 8, from 10am-2pm. An Easter egg hunt will take place at 11am.

Nearly 2,400 people gathered last Saturday morning to shop the first market day of the season. The Market will be open every Saturday from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., and the season runs April through November.
