"Home", an exhibit by former Statesboro artist Scott Foxx, opened at the Averitt Center for the Arts in Downtown Statesboro on March 10. The exhibit includes over 20 pieces of Foxx's work created for this show.

Statesboro banker and resident, Ilona Fountain, was born in Kyiv, Ukraine, which was part of the former Soviet Union at the time, before immigrating to the United States in 1979. Ilona is a Mortgage Loan Officer at CORE Credit Union .
