Tattnall Campmeeting is back with Karen Peck & New River

The Tattnall Campmeeting, a summer tradition since 1867, will kick off on Saturday, July 13, 2024 with Karen Peck & New River Gospel Sing. Services begin on Saturday evening, July 12th and continue through morning, July 20th. The campground is located 30 minutes from downtown Statesboro.

Tattnall Campmeeting will kick off on Saturday July 12, 2025 at the Tattnall Campground near Reidsville, Georgia. All denominations and the public are invited for this special week of worship.

The Tattnall Campground is a Christian retreat established in 1867 and is located at 3769 Campground Road, Claxton, GA just off of Hwy 280 between Claxton and Reidsville. The Tattnall Campground is a 30 minute drive from downtown Statesboro.

The Campground includes a historic tabernacle, where week-long Camp meeting services are held each July.  

Karen Peck & New River Gospel to sing Saturday, July 12 at 7:00pm

Tattnall Campmeeting 2025 will kick off with a Gospel Sing on Saturday, July 12 at 7:00pm featuring Karen Peck and New River. 

Admission is free, and concessions will be available. 

Six-time Grammy nominated, nine-time GMA Dove Award winning Karen Peck and New River has impacted the Gospel Music industry for almost 30 years. In 2018, Karen Peck Gooch was inducted into the Gospel Music Association Hall of Fame. Karen was also inducted into the Southern Gospel Music Hall of Fame in 2021. In 2022, she was voted Favorite Soprano from The Singing News Fan Awards. 

Karen Peck & New River was formed in January 1991. Karen teamed with her husband, Rickey Gooch and her sister, Susan Peck Jackson, to form the group. Karen had already made a name for herself, serving as beloved Soprano for the popular Rex Nelon Singers for a decade. During that time she earned her first GMA Dove Award, as well as her first of 11 consecutive Singing News Fan Awards for Favorite Soprano.

Dr. David Daus

Dr. David Daus will preach all morning services beginning on Monday, July 14th at 11:00 am. 

Morning services will be held at 11:00 am each morning beginning on Monday, July 14th and ending on July 20th.  

Dr. Al Wright

Dr. Al Wright will preach all evening services beginning on Monday, July 14th at 7:30 pm and will join Dr. David Daus on Sunday, July 20th for morning service.

Evening Services will be held at 7:30 pm each evening beginning on Monday, July 14th and ending on July 20th.

Rev. James Bradley

Rev. James Bradley will lead the worship music.

All denominations welcome

All are welcome at Tattnall Campmeeting. It makes no difference if you are Baptist, Methodist, or any other denomination. Come as you are….let’s worship together and study God’s word!

Children's Day Camp

Beginning on Monday, July 15 through Friday, July 19 from 10:00am to 1:00pm, they are hosting a day camp for children Pre-School through rising 6th grade. The cost of the camp is $15 per day or $75 for the week.

Tattnall "Spend the Night" Camp 

Tattnall "Spend the Night" Camp will be held Monday, July 14 through Friday, July 19 at 1:00pm. This camp is for rising 4th graders through 12 grade. The cost is $225for the week. Space is limited.
