United Way of Southeast Georgia, in partnership with Second Harvest Food Bank, is bringing a series of Mobile Food Pantries to communities across the region.

September's upcoming distribution in Tattnall County begins at 10 a.m. (the line will begin at 9 a.m.) on September 2 at First United Pentecostal Church (750 W Barnard St, Glennville, GA 30427). Tattnall County residents, organizers ask that you make sure your trunk is empty to allow room for your groceries. For more information, please contact Joyce Nelson at 912-347-5047.

Later in the month, a food distribution will be held in Bulloch County (Brooklet) on Friday, September 19, at 10 a.m. at Brooklet First Baptist Church (19163 US-80, Brooklet, GA 30415).

These food distributions are made possible through a grant from United Way Worldwide to support long-term recovery efforts following Hurricane Helene.

"Thanks to this funding, we are able to host multiple food distributions across our region in partnership with Second Harvest, Golden Harvest and local community organizations," shared Carey Cassedy, Executive Director of United Way of Southeast Georgia.
