What a fabulous way to ‘Kickstart’ the Holiday Season! We in Statesboro are very ‘Blessed’ to have the GS Planetarium that offers special full-dome presentations that are appropriate for all ages, students, public/private home groups, and adults.
You can go by yourself, with a friend or even plan a field trip with your special club or church group like Young at Heart or your ‘Thanksgiving’ guests.

The upcoming holiday show is like being inside a giant snow globe of ‘Holiday Cheer’ and is always a fan favorite. It has been a Statesboro holiday tradition at the planetarium since 2014. Guests of the show will witness dazzling holiday theme animation and scenes with appearances including Santa Claus, Rudolph, Frosty the Snowman, Elves and more.
‘Let it Snow’ features a new variety of festive classics from Frank Sinatra, Chuck Berry, Burl Ives, and Brenda Lee and includes a stunning multimedia finale by the Transylvania Orchestra. The soundtrack is visibly enhanced with thematic animation, laser imagery, and special effects.
Just perfect to get in the ‘Festive Spirit’ with your friends, family, grandchildren, or your favorite Club Buddies! This show will delight kids from 1 to 99+. This is a great opportunity to showcase one of the wonders of the Boro! The show runs for 30 minutes. Tickets are NOW ON sale!

Times are 12 noon, 12:45pm, 1:30pm, 2:15pm, 3:45pm, 4:30pm, or 5:15pm.
$4 per person, All Ages.

The planetarium will also be accepting toys for ‘Toys for Tots.' They have been proudly gathering toys for five years with hundreds of toys gathered in that time. All toys go to the children of Statesboro and the surrounding area. They are asking for non-perishable, new, unwrapped toys for kids aged 0 to 12.
