The Southeast Bulloch High School Lady Jackets are headed to the State Championship! Continuing their stellar run in the 2025 AAA State Tournament, the Lady Jackets delivered another decisive performance today, sweeping Bainbridge 3-0 in the second round and securing their coveted spot in the final showdown.
The dynamic duo of Laina Erickson and Addie Smith, playing 2nd Doubles, once again set the tone for the Lady Jackets. They were the first off the courts with a decisive and quick 6-4, 6-2 victory, demonstrating their consistent teamwork and skill.
Not long after, the Lady Jackets' strength in singles play shone through as Rylee Veland, competing at 1st Singles, clinched the second team point with a solid 6-3, 6-2 win. Her commanding performance further fueled the team's momentum.

The clinching match, securing the Lady Jackets' place in the State Championship, came from the hard-fought battle of the 1st Doubles team, Sydney Kate Aaron and Lydia Fowler. After a tense first set, they dug deep and emerged victorious with a 7-6, 6-1 win. Their determination and teamwork under pressure sealed the deal for Southeast Bulloch.
This 3-0 victory over Bainbridge follows their equally impressive 3-0 sweep of Dougherty County in the first round, 4-0 sweep of White County, and a 3-2 win over North Hall, showcasing the Lady Jackets' dominance throughout the early stages of the state tournament. With consistent wins across both singles and doubles, the SEB Women's Tennis team has proven themselves to be a formidable force.
