Destiny Hartwell

Destiny Hartwell, Interim Sports Editor, is a 2019 graduate of Statesboro High School and an alumnus from the University of Georgia. She received a bachelor’s degree in journalism with a double minor in Sport Management and Communication Studies as well as a certificate in Sports Media. She has covered a plethora of sports and breaking news in many surrounding small cities and communities. She is well-versed in social media and writing with experience in broadcasting. Destiny’s writing style has the ability to create a trusting relationship with the people she interviews to build lasting connections and develop stories that provide a deeper perspective.
