Council Member Venus Mack and City Clerk Leah Harden were recognized by Pam Helton with GMA at Tuesday's Council meeting. SAT the cities bus system will begin on Monday. The Mayor honored Mrs. Carrie Howard for her work in our community. Read the full report on the meeting in the story below.

Howard has been with EGSC for several years as the head women’s basketball coach. Since January he has served as the Interim Athletic Director.

Jackson Hamilton and Jalen Johnson will use their Georgia Southern degrees to work in the exciting and growing field of sports broadcasting.

The Bulloch County employees will see their new retirement pension plan begin on July 1, 2023 after a vote by the Bulloch County Commission at their meeting on Tuesday morning. Read the story for a full report on the Commission meeting.

The Eagles are paired with Georgia Tech and Northern Illinois today for round two.

The event is free and open to the public. It will feature large equipment that the public can view and learn about from many public safety partners in Bulloch County.

Claxton native Steven Spandle was one of four influential architects and designers presenting at the internationally prestigious art fair TEFAF New York. From 2017 to 2021, Steven was selected to work on a variety of restoration projects at the White House and at Camp David, the Presidential retreat in Maryland.
