Fun, flowers, and fundraising for literacy – all in a V-Day’s work for Altrusa and Frazier’s!

Volunteers from Altrusa Club of Statesboro spent Valentine's Day day delivering a whopping 330 flower arrangements in and around Statesboro on behalf of Frazier's Flowers. This is the 12th year of their partnership, and it has become the organization's largest fundraiser every year. Altrusa earns a portion of each delivery fee, which they spend on books and literacy initiatives for local children and community organizations.

Georgia Department of Transportation (Georgia DOT) construction partners will close interstate lanes at the locations below for the 16@95 Improvement Projects, which will widen Interstate 16 (I-16) and reconstruct the I-16/I-95 Interchange. The lane closures are necessary for widening activities for I-16 and bridge work at the I-16/I-516 Interchange.
