Annual Bulloch County Rabies Clinic takes place June 1

This year, the clinic is scheduled for Saturday, June 1 at multiple locations including the Middleground Store, Portal Middle High School, the Bulloch County 4-H office, Southeast Bulloch High School, and Nevils Elementary. Proceeds benefit Bulloch 4-H and the FFA programs at PMHS, SHS, and SEB.

Free summer meals for kids begin June 3 in Bulloch

Breakfast and lunch are free to any children ages 18 and under and any students who are over 18 who have been diagnosed with a state-defined mental or physical disability. This year the program will also offer meals to parents, caregivers, and other adults for purchase at $4.75 per meal. This year's meal sites are Julia P. Bryant Elementary School and Sallie Zetterower Elementary School, which will serve breakfast and lunch June 3-28.
