The Bulloch County Sheriff’s Office Crime Suppression Team (CST) began an investigation into Tiffany Brooke Brantley of Metter, GA who was suspected to be involved in the trafficking of fentanyl into Bulloch County.
Investigators became aware that the source of the fentanyl was Angel Rodriguez-Rodriguez, an undocumented immigrant, and requested the assistance of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.
On July 8, 2025, BCSO CST Investigators and Homeland Security Agents surveilled Brantley meeting with Rodriguez and conducting a transaction in the Statesboro Crossing shopping center, located on Henry Boulevard, within the city limits of Statesboro.
With the assistance of BCSO Deputies, a BCSO K9 Unit, and BCSO CID, traffic stops were conducted on Brantley’s vehicle and Rodriguez’s vehicle once they were a safe distance away from the crowded shopping center. Both vehicles were searched, and a trafficking amount of fentanyl was recovered from each vehicle, along with a large amount of US currency from Rodriguez’s vehicle.
Rodriguez was confirmed to be an undocumented immigrant in violation of federal law. Both Brantley and Rodriguez were arrested and taken to the Bulloch County Jail for the following offenses:
Tiffany Brooke Brantley
- Trafficking Fentanyl (more than 28 grams)
- 4 counts - Sale of a Schedule II Controlled Substance (Fentanyl)
- 4 counts - Unlawful Use of a Communication Facility
- Manufacturing, distributing, dispensing, or possessing controlled substance, marijuana, or counterfeit substance near park or housing project
- Possession of a Drug Related Object

Angel Rodriguez-Rodriguez
- Trafficking Fentanyl (more than 28 grams)
- 4 counts - Sale of a Schedule II Controlled Substance (Fentanyl)
- Manufacturing, distributing, dispensing, or possessing controlled substance, marijuana, or counterfeit substance near park or housing project

This case is still under investigation and no further information is being released at this time.
