Bulloch County EMA activates emergency shelter amid severe flooding
Severe flooding has led Bulloch County EMA Director Corey Kemp to activate an emergency shelter at Pittman Park United Methodist Church in Statesboro, GA, where over 30 residents were evacuated by boat. Continuous rain has caused localized flooding throughout the county, prompting overnight rescues by local fire departments, law enforcement, and a swift water rescue team.
