Help is Here: Georgia launches statewide residence hall initiative to combat student suicides
The Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities (DBHDD) has partnered with the University System of Georgia (USG) to launch a statewide initiative aimed at reducing student suicides by raising mental health awareness through 988 lifeline decals in residence halls across all public colleges and universities. The initiative is expected to reach 200,000 students.
