Bulloch County reports two COVID deaths today, Candler & Evans Counties report one each. Bulloch County has a total of 78 COVID deaths; 46 PCR deaths & 32 Rapid Antigen deaths.

Feed the Boro is partnering with the City of Statesboro and Second Harvest Food Bank to conduct an emergency food drop, Saturday January 30 beginning at 9 AM to noon unless food runs out earlier.

On January 15th, Governor Brian Kemp appointed Jake Futch of Statesboro to serve on the Georgia Board of Funeral Service for a six year term. Jake is currently the Bulloch County Coroner, a post he has served since first being elected to in 1999.
