It’s true! Crumbl is coming to the Boro

A photo recently circulated Facebook indicating that Crumbl Cookies would be the next business added to the Eagles Corner shopping center near Publix. We contacted the leasing company as well as Crumbl's corporate office to confirm.

A photo recently circulated on Facebook indicating that Crumbl Cookies would be the next business added to the Eagles Corner Publix shopping center.

We contacted the leasing company as well as Crumbl's corporate office to confirm. According to a spokesperson for Crumbl, the Statesboro/Georgia Southern location is slated to open mid to late summer of 2023. This date is approximate and may change due to construction or supply chain delays.

Watkins Real Estate Group, which manages the property, confirmed that Crumbl has leased the location and is in the build-out phase of construction.

Two cousins, Jason McGowan and Sawyer Hemsley, started Crumbl Cookies in Utah in 2017. The chain is known for its chocolate chip cookie as well as its chilled pink sugar cookie, which are on the regular menu, and other flavors rotate weekly. The cookies come in a famous pink box in quantities of four, six, or twelve. According to the Crumbl website, "The brand now focuses on developing unique and delicious cookies inspired by popular flavors, foods, desserts of all kinds -- from pies to cakes to candies and more."

Tropical Smoothie Cafe also recently opened in the complex, and ExperCare Urgent Care is currently doing a build-out, as well.

Crumbl Cookies will be located at 113 Tormenta Way, next to Lendmark Financial.
